This froma Skyscrapercity forum. Apparently it wasn’t made in irony. And why not- the Singapore real estate scene is Monopoly Street nowadays…

MONOPOLY properties?

Just wondering if anyone interested in owning Monopoly Property? My apologies if this is off topic but I’m a monopoly fanatic and will be redecorating my apt with the stage backdrop (mural can be seen in first picture) and the individual floor pieces will be the wall art (saves me $ painting). I will also display collectible monopoly sets in antique Art Decor (or retro) cupboards throughout the apt… think anyone will rent/buy it if I do it like that??Any other fans or ppl who have old Monopoly set for me to frame up and display?Any one here interested to see the floorplan / layout of the apt so that all members here can “suggest” ideas on where to put what… hence the final outcome will be a collective effort by everyone here?Cheers! The browns (or Purple in this case. This board is the World’s 1 and only)

Right off Wikipedia,

Mostly useless

The report at Special:Disambiguations is mostly useless

The other company names that sound most like ours:

Urban Spaces English real estate agency with a specialty in lofts.

Urban Space ‘A property group that owns and operates three heritage buildings in downtown Toronto.’

A landscaping company in Lavender(Singapore) called Urban Space as well. I think- let me try to stop and get a photo the next time I’m around the neighbourhood.

A Singaporea interior design company called Urbane Environments.

And some website called urbanespace.com but which has urbanespaces in its tag. Am feeling cyber stalked.

FYI- the company’s name is UrbaneSpaces- with an ‘e’ and an ’s’.

We much prefer to not be restricted by physical locality and instead be associated with the intrinsic qualities of a property, which explains the choice of ‘urbane’ over ‘urban’.

The Sellsius blog is starting to look like quite a fun source of information:

I found out about the 6% commission in the US when a US-based estate agent asked me for a co-broking fee of 3% of the sale price when I tried to list a property I had with his site. THAT’S when I realized!
The Filipino system seems to make sense in avoiding that broker’s conflict of interest- issues. I also happen to love the sound of Mexico. In places like Indonesia- how do you decide who pays? It’s like when the check arrives after a bad dinner date.
Anyway you can register more of the whining here:

Am not sure what year this was published but from the furniture it looks decidedly mid century modern . Check the full report here:
